Florida One Church One Child Adoption Program - Florida Adoptions

Welcome to One Church, One Child (OCOC) of Florida's website. Browse through the site to read additional information on available adoption services and to find answers to your questions regarding Florida Adoption, Foster Care, Godparenting, Kids Club, etc.

OCOC operates statewide in Florida and is a private, non-profit, faith-based organization licensed in Florida as a child adoptions & placement agency. OCOC provides adoptions and foster care related services and independent adoption services.

All of the children in Florida's foster care system are termed special needs. While most of the children in foster care will reunite with family, many will not and will require adoption by a family (married couple or single person). Every child deserves a forever, permanent home and family. You can make a difference - a child is waiting for adoption or foster care in Florida.

One Church, One Child in Florida provides opportunity for everyone to get involved with the important and critical ministry of finding appropriate loving, nurturing, caring families and individuals to help save the children in Florida. Identify your role in helping special needs children below:

  • Adoption is for the person(s) who can make a permanent commitment to a child(ren) with special needs.
  • Foster Care is for the person(s) who can make a commitment to temporarily care for a child(ren) with special needs.
  • Godparenting is for the person(s) who can commit to be faithfully involved in a child(ren) life without the formal legal responsibility.
  • Volunteering is for the person(s) who want to provide time supporting the efforts and activities of One Church, One Child at the local or state level on behalf of children with special needs.
  • Contributing is for the individual person(s), entities, agencies, corporations, and/or businesses who want to financially support the efforts of One Church, One Child on behalf of children -- all contributions are tax deductible.

Florida One Church, One Child Local Advisory Committees (volunteers) help sponsor activities such as adoption matching, back-to-school, Christmas, graduation supports, etc. for children in foster care in the Department of Children and Families Districts/Region - you can partner with Florida One Church, One Child in the many efforts for children with special needs.

Contact Florida One Church, One Child Headquarters at the number below for additional information on Florida adoption, foster care, Godparenting, volunteering and/or contributing.
